Dean Owens – Southern Wind
The title track from Southern Wind album (16 Feb 2018, At The Helm Records). The video is epic!
Filmed (by Waltzer Films) in and around Leith, including Scotland’s oldest boxing club, Leith Victoria AAC Boxing Club. It’s dark, moody and powerfully evocative. Inspired by Trainspotting, Peaky Blinders and The The’s The Infected, it includes a cameo by actor Jamie Sives from Game of Thrones (Jory Cassel), Doctor Who, Clash of the Titans and the upcoming Outlaw King (William Wallace) as The Boxer.
And there’s loads of Will Kimbrough‘s atmospheric, screaming, dirty guitar.

Dean Owens – The Last Song
The first track to be released from upcoming album, Southern Wind.
Dean: “This is the first song Will Kimbrough and I wrote together for the album. We bonded through our mutual love of Ronnie Lane and bands like The Waterboys. We wanted to write a kinda pub rock song for the end of the night and we just sat jamming and throwing in names of some of our heroes. It’s also got lots of great Kimbrough guitar licks on it“.
