In celebration of November being Native American Heritage Month, and the release of a brand new video – Vanishing World – Dean is dedicating his next online gig to the songs from the self titled debut release of Buffalo Blood.

Originally recorded (and filmed) in the wilds of the New Mexico desert with fellow Buffalo Blood collaborators – Neilson Hubbard, Audrey Spillman and Joshua Britt, it was released on double red vinyl with gatefold sleeve (on Eel Pie Records), and premiered at Celtic Connections 2019. The songs are built around themes of migration and displaced people, and inspired by stories of Native Americans.

A one-off chance to hear the songs stripped back, with just Dean and his guitar.
Pay what you want, with suggested minimum of £5 (and you’ll get a downloadable virtual ticket in return), or add to Dean’s virtual (Paypal) tip jar on the night.

Note: There are still some copies of the album available (with a donation to Redhawk Native American Arts Council from every physical sale) – direct from https://www.deanowens.com/shop-2/buffalo-blood/ and from Bandcamp https://deanowens.bandcamp.com/album/buffalo-blood (with digital available too if you can’t do vinyl)
